Terms of Service
These terms govern your organization's ("Customer", "you") use of Passetta, an app installed from the HubSpot Marketplace. Passetta is provided by the Passetta team ("we", "us").
1. The service
Passetta issues digital membership passes from HubSpot contacts, validates those passes by QR code, and writes check-in activity back to your HubSpot account. Passetta does not replace HubSpot as your CRM: contacts, workflows, billing, and communication remain entirely within HubSpot and under your control.
2. Accounts and access
Passetta does not create a separate username or password. Administrative access is governed entirely by your HubSpot account and its user permissions, connected via OAuth. You are responsible for who has administrative access to your HubSpot portal and, by extension, to Passetta's configuration for that portal.
3. Acceptable use
- Use Passetta only for legitimate membership issuance and check-in purposes.
- Do not attempt to guess, enumerate, or forge pass tokens or scanner sessions.
- Do not use Passetta to process data you are not authorized to hold under applicable law or your own agreements with your members.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
4. Fees and plans
Passetta may offer a free tier alongside paid plans with higher limits. Current plan details, if any are enforced, are shown in the app and in the HubSpot Marketplace listing. We will give reasonable notice before enforcing new billing limits on an existing installation.
5. Data ownership
You own your HubSpot contact data. Passetta stores only the minimal derived data described in our Privacy Policy — a snapshot of the fields you map, a hashed pass token, and check-in records — solely to operate the service on your behalf.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Passetta is designed so that scanning and check-in confirmation do not depend on HubSpot's own availability; the reverse — Passetta's availability — is not guaranteed to be unaffected by third-party infrastructure outages.
7. Termination
You may uninstall Passetta from your HubSpot account at any time, which stops issuance of new passes and begins the data deletion process described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend an installation that violates these terms or presents a security risk to other customers.
8. Disclaimer and liability
Passetta is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date above and, where practical, notify installed accounts through HubSpot.
